Thomas

Today, I watch Thomas and friends in tv. I recognize Percy in the screen which triggered me to get a little book I have with the green engine in it. I brought out the book and turned to the particular page with Percy in and showed it to Mom and Dad.

Yes/No

I am almost 1.5 years old but not yet really can talk yet. I do make sounds like a sentence but no one understand.

I just learnt how to nod my head to express 'yes' and shake my head to say 'no'. In the past few weeks, I have confusion on using of the above. Shaking my head is much easier than nodding so no matter what my mom and dad ask me, I just reply with the easier sign I know.

Today, dad reinforce the association of 'yes/no' with 'nod/shake' by giving/not giving the toy I want and I quickly figure out the right message I need to send out. Although my effort to make my nod is much bigger than shaking my head, I do express myself correctly.

I have some luck

I got a letter addressed to me today.  This is the first time received a letter.  The interesting part is I won a lucky draw price.  What kind of lucky draw I have been participated?  It is from the travel insurance that Mom bought for me.  Dad took his annual leave on June and we have had a family trip to Singapore.  On that trip, we all bought travel insurance and I am the lucky one :-)

Aries

Your element: Fire

Your ruling planets: Mars

Symbol: The Ram

Your stone: Ruby

Life Pursuit: The thrill of the moment

Vibration: Enthusiastic

Aries Secret Desire: To lead the way for others.

Description:
Aries are fire signs and those born under this element are regarded in astrology as adventurous, active and outgoing. It won't matter where you go or how remote or unusual it is - from the Outback to the Antarctic - you can be sure that an Aries has been there before you (or at the very least you will meet one along the way!) Aries is a uniquely naive sign. Although they are independent, outgoing and assertive they are also surprisingly trusting, often innocently walking into the lion's den at times. No matter what upheaval, challenge or triumph they confront - an Aries has a wonderful ability to bounce back. Their faith in life and the future remains untouched by hardship. Their gift is that they are always children at heart and the world is always a magical place for them. Many famous sports people are born under this sign. Aries is regarded as the most physical sign and because of its Mar's rulership; it is also one of the most highly charged masculine energy signs in astrology. No wonder women born under Aries are forceful, dynamic and aggressive, and as a result these Aries women frequently find themselves with dilemmas surrounding their romantic relationships. For them, a man has to be a 'real man' to deal with an Aries woman, otherwise she intimidates him. And conversely for the Aries male, a woman has to be a real woman to deal with him, because he is looking for many balancing component traits (his true feminine side) in his partner. She has to run the gamut in his support system, from the Aries man's best friend, true companion, through to his muse, and yet she must never ever answer him back!

Therefore Aries can be a confusing sign because there is a complex combination of very strong masculine and feminine expressions all combined together. Because of the male energy surrounding it, when a woman is born under Aries, it creates some of the most interesting women in the world, women who are adventurous, independent and have competitive natures. It also tends to make them very forthright.

But whether male or female, Aries people are 'doers' rather than 'talkers'. They are the impulsive, act first, ask questions or have doubts later, sign of the zodiac. That's why their lives are often filled with many dramas and sometimes even accidents! Their ability to live life close to the edge provides them with a wealth of 'real experience' to call upon. When an Aries person talks about something or somewhere they've usually done it or been there, rather than simply read about it in a book. Being active people Aries can't adapt to any kind of restriction, particularly possessive relationships. They often travel to escape any feelings of being stuck or possessed. Aries people love challenges. In fact, if everything is running smoothly, they are quite capable of going out and doing something (sometimes quite foolish) to rock the boat. Aries love to race in where angels fear to tread.
Star Sign Compatibility

How compatible is your star sign with another star sign?
your fully- detailed astrology report no ordinary horoscope can provide.
If you were born on the first or last day of a Sun sign, in astrological terms you were born on a cusp. If that's the case, you will probably benefit from reading your own Sun sign and the Sun sign that ends or begins right before or after your date of birth. For example, if your birth date is 22 December, your Sun sign is Capricorn, but you probably have some Sagittarian traits as well

An afternoon in Disneyland

I can walk now and very excited on using this new skills to help me explore the world. Today's is my sister Samantha's birthday. Mom and Dad took us to Hong Kong Disneyland. I walk all the way from the entrance, through the castle, all the way to the first in my life time attraction I ride on - mary-go-round (a.k.a Cinderella Carousel). I watched Samantha did the Jumbo ride with GrandMom. We meet up with Auntie B-ching andwe did the "Mad Hatter Tea Cups" togeather. "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" is the last attraction I did before I fell asleep.

I was woken up by the loud music of the parade after Samantha finished "it's a small world" and "The Golden Mickeys at Disney's Storybook Theater".

I had great fun in the water playground. Mom prepared spare clothes for me so I can keep myself dry after playing.

Birthday in China

I am one year old today.   We have a big family day trip to shenzhen (16 members together, included my 4 grand parents and grand mom’s sisters and some of their descendant).  This is the second time I travelled out of Hong Kong.  It takes time to cross the boarder as we take along with us Auntie Joy who is using her passport instead of our usual travel document “回鄉証”.

After lunch, we went to 观澜山水田园农庄 and spent the afternoon there.  Before dinner, we did some shopping in the city centre area.  When we back to home, it was almost 11pm.

CNY Fever

It was a bit busy for me on my first Chinese New Year schedule.  I met a lot of relatives (20+) on the year end dinner gathering.  On First day of year tiger, we went to have vegeterian lunch in Mom’s mom home.  Mom and Dad went to watch a movie in the afternoon while I went to grand mom’s elder sister’s home with grand mom.   We then gathered again for a dinner resturant with other 30+ relatives.  Day 2, we went to Dad’s mom home for ‘open the year’ lunch.  I was asleep when I arrived grand mom’s home at 1pm, and have had a good long sleep for 3 hours.  Original plan was we would visit grand mom’s elder sister home in the later afternoon.  It has been cut short and we went home at around 5pm as I started to have high fever.  This cycle of high fever lasted for 3 days and peaked at 39 degrees celsius on the 2nd day.  My fever forced dad to stay home with me on the 3rd day of year tiger, gave him the chance of winning a bit of money in a new year horse racing bet.

Sea sick

Today is a sunny sunday.  Grand Pa, Grand Ma and my parent bring me and Samantha to Lamma Island for an afternoon short trip.  Though I have no problem last time when we went to Macau, I was a bit sea sick today on this less than 30 mins short ride on the boat from Central to Lamma Island.  We have had a relaxing afternoon there.  We went to the beach.  This time I am a bit afraid of the feeling of standing on the sands.  We have had an early sunset dinner in a seafood resturant nearby the pier as the ending of this outting.
